TBRs & Wrap Ups

My Month of Rereading // March + Rereadathon TBR

March is going to be a fun reading month for me! I’m excited to be participating in the Re-Read-a-Thon from the 10th to the 16th. This event is hosted by Murphy Napier and can be found on Twitter here.

While I’m excited to get this opportunity to reread some of my favorite books, I wanted more. So I decided to make March my month of rereading. That’s right, every book on my TBR for March is going to be a book I’ve read in the past. That’s not to say that I won’t read any new books this month, but I will be trying to cross off every book on my TBR before moving on to first time reads.

So what books am I rereading in March?

My March TBR

Forgive Me, Leonard Peacock by Matthew Quick

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins

Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins

My Rereadathon TBR

Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia // a Popular Book

Looking for Alaska by John Green // an Old Favorite

Neverworld Wake by Marisha Pessl // a New Favorite

And that’s my full rereading TBR for March! I hope I don’t get burned out on all these stories I’m already familiar with halfway through the month. Rereading is one of my favorite parts of being a reader, but I’ve never committed to a full month of rereads. I know I’ll miss out on the opportunity to consume all new stories, but I think it will be worth it.

What are your opinions on rereading? And will you be participating in Rereadathon? Let me know your thoughts below!

Until next time!

Ivy

  1. Good luck with the readathon! I’ve been meaning to reread The Hunger Games for forever now and never do. I wish I had to time to reread but there are always so many great books coming out that I feel like I have to read those! I may have to participate in a readathon in order to finally do it.

  2. The pressure of new releases does make rereading stressful! I actually reread the Hunger Games last March, so it looks like this might be an annual reread for me. I hope you can get back to the series sometime soon!
